The misadventures of a victim of fashion Description The Court Couturier is a "DRAMA-MENTARY". It combines the real world of a documentary as the setting and adds a fictional scripted parallel-universe narrative which almost could have come from that factual documentary world. In this way, a film or TV mini-series "drama-mentary" inherits all the realism of that world which would otherwise be impossible to convincibly create. Real Australian fashion designer Wayne Cooper studied and became a Barrister in the UK before abandoning the profession in Sydney Australia and becoming one of Australia's success stories in Fashion. A colourful character, Cooper once derided super-model Claudia Schiffer for wearing the wrong shoes on one of his catwalks, ripped up a copy of Vogue in front of an audience, and even punched out an event host! Director's Bio Award-winning photographer and filmmaker Kostas Metaxas began his career in Magazine Publishing in 1986 as the Editor/Publisher of 2 magazines - Vive la vie [Live the life] and Vive la Cuisine [ Live for Food]. Since 2000, he has diversified these titles into Broadcast Television and has produced over 300 hours of documentaries on these subjects. This work has afforded him the luxury of meeting with the passionate creative people who inhabit the international world of the arts, fashion, design, jewellery and gastronomy. It is no surprise that 27 years later, he is using this creative landscape to create a new genre of feature where he combines the essence of a creative industry with a fiction narrative, drawing upon the richness, diversity and reality of that "universe". A Priest, a woman and a 2500 year old secret. A priest is dispatched from the centre of the Greek Church ; the Archdiocese of Constantinople, to Melbourne Australia to retrieve a missing asset , a mysterious woman with a special ability and a 2500 year old secret.

SYNOPSIS The Archdiocese of Constantinople has been alerted that one of it's key assets, believed killed during the Bosnian Civil war, is in fact alive and living in Melbourne Australia. They dispatch a special envoy, a priest trained in Church security matters to retrieve the asset, under the radar of international protocol to avoid any political incidents. The asset named Maria, a beautiful, young art dealer, possesses a special form of Synesthesia which allows here to decipher and convert the graphics or code of art into mathematical equations. Maria has recently relocated to an apartment block in Melbourne's suburbs and has intrigued her neighbours , long-time friends. Rick who works for the department of immigration and Jon, a Classical violinist who's hits rock bottom. He's just been laid off from his part-time job as a cook, can't seem to find full-time work as a musician, is estranged from his father and still lives in the wake of his mother's tragic death. Jon is infatuated with and drawn to Maria. Maria introduces Jon to the whirlwind world of contemporary art, unaware that she is being pursued by the envoy priest. BACKSTORY The Ancient Greeks gave to humanity - Phlosophy, Medicine, Politics, etc...but kept one important secret - the secret relationship between art and science. Mankind in the year 500BC simply wasn't ready for many of the incredible advancements they had already discovered. The Antikythera "Computer" [today in the Athens National History Museum] is an example of the incredible technology available in 2500 BC - technology that wouldn't surface again in Europe until the 1600's They deduced that "the Gods" with their perverse sense of humour, had embedded man's DNA with all the "answers", but it was only through art, and the rare ability of some individuals to decode art, that man could find these answers and evolve to a higher spiritual state. This secret covenant was passed on to the Greek Church during the Roman occupation and continues to reside in Constantinople [for the past 2500 years]. Part of this research - important discoveries, would be carefully disseminated through the international science community through envoys when it was felt that it was needed. When mankind was mature enough to deal with it. Envoys like Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein...the list goes on. Of course, some mistakes were made. It was only through the recent war in Bosnia that one of these secret cells was compromised and two individuals - Maria & Evgennis, managed to escape.
